Room 10 Dojo
This is room 10s dojo. we use this to keep track of our behavior. If we are good we get a point and if we are bad we get a point taken off. If by friday we have a positive dojo with no negatives we get a class treat.
Room10 Cave Drawing
Yesterday we hade a go at cave drawing. It was the earliest way to communicate, they drew stories about what they saw. This is Hamish drawing his story about an animal. First we stained our paper to have a cave like effect. When they had dried we used charcoal to create a dark shadow.

Sign Laungue
Today we had 12 students away, it was a very quiet day!! Instead of making morse code machines, like we were going to we decided to learn some sign language. So we read a book on sign language then looked at some sign launguage videos on youtube. Here we are learning the basics. After we learnt the basics we decided to learn the National Anthem. The first time we practised we looked very funny but after a few tries we started to get the hang of it. What a wonderful world was the next conquest... let's see what we can work on for our assembly item this term.. it could be an entertaining show.

Making myths come alive!!
This afternoon in ICT we used Easi-Speaks to make Maori legends come alive. We were focusing on Expression and Maori gods. Here is the start of a Myth from Eila and Jesse. Their myth was explaining why our Sun goes slowly across the sky and how Maui slowed it down.
